We have received our bearings, and have started assembly. Shipping will start Monday, and we will be assembling and shipping all next week. To those who haven't been checking comments or haven't messaged us, we had a large delay with our bearings being held in customs. I apologize for any lack of communication on my end. We will be sending out a small batch of spinners this week! The rest of our spinner bodies will be arriving the end of this week (should be June 2nd), and then we'll ship out the rest. All of the hard work is starting to pay off, and we think this will be well worth the wait!
We want to update everyone on an enhancement to our design! After putting a lot of time into spinning, and taking into consideration that this would mean a slight delay, we decided to go with a chamfer. A chamfer is a beveled and super-smooth edge that will ensure you have an enjoyable experience after thousands of spins.
While we had prototypes that were lightly sanded, JD personally sanded them himself, and so we realized that our definition of "lightly sanded" may not carry over as we start making 1000's and 10's of 1000's of spinners.
The chamfer means every spinner will have a perfectly, smooth edge. While this means a delay in shipping (estimating two weeks), it more importantly means you'll have one of the best spinners money can buy, and that means everything to us. We wanted the best of both worlds, the durability of carbon fiber, and the smoothness of other materials. We think we achieved this with the chamfer. Thank you for your patience, and understanding!
